Effective February 16, 2009, Aeron work chairs and work stools built in North America will have new “green” non-upholstered (W) armpads─without PVC (vinyl). The design change in the armpads will allow Aeron to achieve MBDC Silver Cradle to Cradle certification.

The new, non-upholstered armpads are composed of self-skinning urethane foam, which is used in the armpads of Embody™, Celle®, and Foray.
